The Artist

An explorer at heart, Jim Christopher has spent his life discovering the range of his talents. Graduating from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, he embarked on a graphic design career. He spent the next several decades designing for a multitude of companies, some of which are George Lucas Ltd., Apple Computer and the Georgia-Pacific Company. Some of Jim’s work can be seen in the Smithsonian Institution’s permanent collection. Thirty years and 100 design awards later, he started painting on his fiftieth birthday.

In the fourteen years since Jim has become a watercolor and oil fine artist, he has specialized in landscapes, seascapes, and cityscapes, and has traveled the world to paint them.

He is a member of several professional art organizations, including the National Watercolor Society and California Watercolor Association.

Jim lives in Danville, California with his wife Mary and their cat P.T. Cruiser.
